I’ve written about nursing and theme songs before. Maybe I’m “weird.” I don’t know. Each day a new song playlist rings in my head. Interactions with individuals, moments alone, and times of both productivity and rest have their own soundtracks, no doubt a reflection of music I’m consciously or subconsciously hearing.

For example, yesterday prompted: “It’s a beautiful daaaaay,” “Why can’t we be friends? Why can’t we be friends,” “Celebrate good times, c’mon! It’s a celebration,” “Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming,” “Small potatoes, small potatoes,” and “Sail away, sail away, sail away.”

Always fun. Wonder what tomorrow’s list holds? “Tomorrow, tomorrow, you’re only a day away!” Enjoy the soundtrack of your day. If you don’t like it, skip to the next song.
