2013RomanNumeralsRather than make resolutions each year, I chose one word to help frame my work and play. After much thought, “new” is my word for 2013. It takes a lot for me to break routines, but I find I am pleasantly surprised when I do. So why don’t I do it more?! This year I will.

I plan to pursue new foods, new activities, new places, and new relationships. I will allow the old to become new again, relish the “new-to-me” moments, and share the newness with others, as well. I will think of each new day as a gift and give thanks for the new mercies given to me.

Welcome, New Year!

May you and yours cherish the day and the new year. All the best for an amazing 2013!
