A colleague directed me to the New Your Times Picture Your Life After Cancer site this week.
I was moved reading story after story, but the thought that struck me most was there are too many pictures here. What’s even more mind-boggling is that the amount of pictures on the site doesn’t even scratch the surface of the nearly 12 million cancer survivors alive in the U.S today.
I appreciate the survivors who share their voices via the New York Times and elsewhere. It keeps reminding me of why I do what I do. Onward!
