The shoe dropped, and it’s like a really comfortable, purple, faux-crocodile high heel. Not only can you walk all day in it, but it is business-proper with just enough heel and pop of color to liven up the day.

I do love these shoes right now, but I am actually referring to my new job. I am already loving it as I see more and more, and I feel like I “belong” with the healthcare system…just like my shoes: business with little pops and flashes of wonderful.

I know more shoes – some bland, some vibrant, some comfortable, and some restrictive – will drop as I grow with and within the organization, but being a shoe lover, I cannot wait to try them all. They each have their purpose. So, bring on the shoes. Let them drop!
