We have forgotten the cultivated art of thank you. We are so busy that we fail to recognize the efforts – “big” and “small” – of others. We forget the difference a thank you makes, as well. You never know what thank you means to another person.
Give thank you’s away generously. Like rain. Drops here and there. Sometimes mists and sometimes downpours. Thank you is nourishment, a moment of life-giving encouragement. It spurs growth and development. It is vital to health.
We all want to make a difference; saying thank you means that – someone made a difference in your life.
Are people around you brittle, drying up? Let your thank you’s – no matter how you say them – rain this week and soak into the environment and people around you.
