So many times we discount the small. It’s not significant enough. Or so we think. I’ve fallen into this mind trap too many times. I forget to celebrate the small victories. I brush-off the small successes. Small, small, small. That is all.
It’s the small, though, that adds up to the big. An impressive resume is comprised of many small, consistent pieces. Great managers are successful in the “little things” that matter to people. Massive weight loss occurs one pound at a time. And of course as the saying goes, the longest journey begins with a single step. Don’t discount the small. Because one day, it will be big.

Everyday is filled with little victories.
