I just returned from the most lavish birthday party I have ever attended in my life. I actually wasn’t the invited guest. My son was. It was a party for six-year olds.
Two hours looking at a $1 million plus house backing up to the lake and three bounce houses, a full petting zoo, pony rides, a clown, and a snow cone truck later, I left thinking about my life. Much heavier thinking than I bargained for on a gorgeous Saturday this Easter weekend.
Having all those things is great. I hope one day I have the house that I’ve built in my head over the years. It may not ever happen, though. I’m okay with that. My family and I live a pretty simple life. Yet, it is a full life – actually more wonderful than I ever dreamed.
This Easter weekend, which is significant to my family in many ways, I am thankful for my simple life. Indeed, it is the good life. All the best to you and yours this holiday weekend. May you relish the simple things – the good life – as well.

What is it measured by?
Well that’s up to you. Just make sure you pick category that you can keep full, but it seems you dont have any issues with that.
