If you still want the job at the end of the interview (because there may be instances where you realize you are definitely not the right person for the job, culture, etc.), end with one final question. It’s simple and direct:

Now that you’ve had a chance to learn more about me, can you see me in this role?

Hopefully the interviewer says yes and starts listing all the qualities she heard that make you the perfect candidate. However, there is a strong possibility she may hesitate or simply say no. If that is the case, inquire more of why she thinks that you are not the right fit for the position. This will give you one last opportunity to address those concerns – giving examples, of course – and hopefully clinch the desired position.
