Lateral violence, or bullying, is a hot topic these days, for sure, and it seems as though we have all either been victims or the bullies themselves. I didn’t learn about lateral violence in nursing school, thus I didn’t learn strategies to stop bullies within health care. Most of us are in the same boat, learning strategies to stop bullies on our own or allowing the vicious status quo to continue.
So, do you know how to stop a healthcare professional bullying you or others?

when your an Adult it’s harder, most people I suspect either keep it bottled up or just quit there job. This is something you are not warned about as a child or teenager .
