Dyson makes vacuums. Really great vacuums. (They also happen to make hand dryers and bladeless fans.)

Most of the Dyson commercials end with Sir James Dyson saying, “We fix the obvious problems others choose to ignore.”

Wow. I wonder what that mindset would do to nursing, to healthcare? Patient safety, staffing, <insert problem here>.

Maybe you should give it a shot. You just might win the James Dyson Award, not to mention make the lives of nurses and patients better. Already on the fifth version of your idea? No worries. It took James Dyson over 15 years and 5,000 prototypes. Don’t quit.

As an aside, the more I read about Dyson, the more I love the leader, the vision, and the company. The story is amazingly inspiring.
