I found a new favorite spot in Austin – Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. It was the location of a remembrance service for our oncology patients, family members, and friends who passed away over the last year.
The air was cool; the vegetation was bright green; the birds and rushing water joined together in beautiful harmony; the sunlight broke through the protective tree canopy. With worn paths, trails, benches, and Adirondack chairs scattered across the grounds, I know I will return to walk, sit, reflect, and write.
