The problem with leadership, whether it’s inherent leadership or not, is that we often forget we’re leading. People are actually following. And if leaders don’t know who we’re following or what plan we’re tracking, well…that leaves a whole lot of followers lost and working in frustrating circles. This problem also leaves casualties in the wake of “leadership” because the leader forgets to nurture the followers into other leaders, or if new leaders somehow grow by their own might and will, they, too, are prone to this broken copycat leadership.
