Yesterday morning marked the beginning of the fall semester for area colleges and universities. As I passed by the University of Texas School of Nursing this morning (Hook ‘Em!!), I thought about all the entry-level nursing students (again!) – scared to death – beginning an amazing journey on an excellent career path. Some of them will make it through. Some of them won’t. Then I heard this story on the radio. Goodness. I feel mighty old right now.
