Last week a friend posted the title of this blog post into her Facebook status. Burning the candle brightly is all about giving your best; it seared into my mind. So many times I let my flame flicker. Sure, there are brilliant moments, but am I aware? Do I let my candle burn brightly? Every day? It takes a lot of conscious, deliberate effort to do that.

So, on this Monday (and every day), I am working to be conscious about my flame – my passion. I will burn it brightly this week. And when I feel as though it is dying down, I will find and use the fan to help grow it again.

Consider this a soft fan and tinder-adding moment. Burn brightly today, Friends. Burn brightly.
