It’s not that one person can’t make a difference. No, he definitely can, but there is power in numbers – numbers of nurses saying the same thing. It’s synergistic; we become more powerful and louder together than we ever would be separately.

Need to raise a concern? Want to cause action? Work in concert with another nurse or group of nurses. Not only will you get the attention of others, but you’ll also get the other benefits of teams – encouragement, diversity of thought, dividing the burden, and multiplying the success.
